Consignment Questions
How does consignment work?
We accept Western saddles, tack, clothing, and boots that are in clean, usable condition. We discuss pricing based on the condition and current market value of your items. Once your item sells, we earn our agreed-upon commission and you receive the remainder.
What is your consignment fee?
Our commission is 40% for all items including tack, clothing, boots, horsewear, ect (60% goes to you).
Saddle are on A Scale System depending on Retail Price from 40%(60% goes to you) to 20%(80% goes to you)
All items include a $1 processing and marketing fee (separate from consignment commission) to help us promote your items and cover transaction costs.

Do my items have to be clean?
Yes! Items must be clean and free of mold and strong odors. Saddles and leather tack should be cleaned and oiled before consignment. This will have your items on the sales floor sooner .
Do you inventory and price items for me?
We can inventory and price items in-store for you, or you can prepare them beforehand. We price all items based on age, condition, and current market value.
Can I ship items to you for consignment?
Yes! You're responsible for all shipping costs, and we recommend adding insurance for high-value items. Please email us with photos before shipping.
What items are you NOT currently accepting?
- Broken, dirty, or damaged tack
- English Tack & Saddles
- Clothing items
- Stable Sheets
Why was my saddle rejected for consignment?
We only accept quality, used English and Western saddles. Poorly constructed or faulty saddles are rejected for safety reasons and because we want items that will sell, not gather dust in our store.
Payment & Pricing
How do I get paid for my items?
An e-transfer is sent on the 15th of each month for items sold the previous month. Sales under $20 are carried forward to the next month. You can also use your sales as in-store credit.
Please NOTE: If the 15th falls on A sunday payout will be on Monday the 16th)

When do I get paid out for my sold consignment pieces?
Payouts are available 30 days after your item sells, processed on the 15th of each month. To check your account status, email us at UntamedHorseTack@Gmail.com
Can prices be adjusted?
We maintain the right to adjust prices based on how long an item has been in the store and during promotions or sales. We always use our best judgment. Price changes or offers on saddles and high-value items ($500+) will always be presented to you before we act. If you don't respond to an offer within 24 hours, Untamed Soul Horse Tack Consignment reserves the right to make a decision on your behalf.
What if I need to pick up my consignment item?
Please give us a minimum of 48 hours notice by email or phone. Insufficient notice may result in a 10% rush processing fee. You'll need to sign the item out, or provide written consent if someone else is picking up on your behalf. Items must be picked up within 1 weeks of your request.

Yes! Untamed Soul Horse Tack Consignment is both an online shop and a physical store located in Leduc, Alberta. We offer shipping across Canada & USA.

Can I view items or try things on before buying?
Absolutely! Viewings and try-ons are available at our store. Email us at UntamedHorseTack@Gmail.com if you have questions or need an appointment outside regular hours. We do our best to accommodate after-hours visits.
How do I trial a saddle?
IN STORE ONLY
We offer 3-day saddle trials with a full deposit payable by Credit Card Cash & e-transfer , Debit Card Refunds processed by Debit Card Company can take up to 3 days, while refunds via Cash or e-transfer are immediate.

If saddles are to be shipped, trials are not available; trials are for in-store only.
Shipping Questions
Why is shipping so expensive?
We primarily use Canpar, Canada Post, Purolator, and UPS for shipping. While we keep rates as low as possible, we don't control shipping costs and Untamed Soul Horse Tack Consignment doesn't profit from shipping fees. If shipping seems high, please reach out and we'll look into it for you.
What are the shipping speeds?
We aim to fulfill shipped orders within 1–3 business days via expedited parcel.
Untamed Soul Horse Tack Consignment is not responsible for projected shipping speeds, which are beyond our control. Shipping times may be affected by holidays, weather, or other unforeseen delays.
Do you ship to the USA?
Yes . USA buyers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or brokerage fees before the items cross the border.
